We are a professional learning community of teachers and students who believe that together, we can make our world better by tackling some of the world's biggest problems.
SMART Technologies in Calgary, Alberta hosts the global SMART Exemplary Educator program (SEE) which recognizes skilled and dedicated teachers, technology coordinators and administrators who lead the way in using SMART products to engage students and improve learning outcomes.
Our latest project is in response to a challenge to create an cutting-edge, interactive classroom in a village in rural India.
SMART states; "Through Free The Children’s holistic and sustainable development model Adopt a Village, SMART will support education and access to technology for students in Verdhara, India by supporting the reconstruction of the computer lab."
Our projects? Air and Light and Robots! We will partner with students across the globe, particulary in the US, Canada, the Netherlands and India to address the problems of safe, available and free light after dark and indoor air quality and engaging education.
